Last year, we launched our Twitch extension for free, to help solve the music copyright takedown issue that many streamers were facing, and we were ecstatic at the community’s reception.
Now, we’re making it even better with Soundstripe’s Twitch Pro plan.
We just upgraded our Twitch extension with new features requested by streamers. Your subscription gets you access to our Twitch Pro extension, which includes:

If you are not a customer, you can sign-up for the Twitch Pro plan or any of our Music plans to get access to the Twitch Pro extension features.
Now, let’s dive in and explore how to access and use the new Twitch Pro features.
If you need to forge your own music path, you’ve also got the freedom to create custom playlists. Create the perfect listening experience by building your own playlists from our library of more than 7,000+ songs.
Switch from “Curated Playlists” to the “My Playlists” tab in your stream manager panel view. Click “Go to Soundstripe” if you haven’t already created new Playlists to use.
Head over to Soundstripe to begin browsing for stream-worthy songs. Add songs to an already created playlist or make a new playlist for your broadcast. Back in the Twitch extension, under the “My Playlists” tab, you’ll see your newly added playlists appear. That’s it! It’s just as easy as it sounds.
The Twitch Pro extension unlocks 10 additional playlists, giving you a total of 28 different highly-curated options. That’s over 200 hours of really good music to soundtrack your streams.
From lo-fi hip hop to indie rock to electronic, you’ve got a variety of genres to choose from. Here’s more good news: Each playlist was curated by our in-house Grammy-winning production team, so you know each mix is top-notch.
Each Pro playlist is marked with a blue “pro” label making it easy for you to locate and play each one.
Even with hundreds of hours of music at your fingertips, you might still desire to keep the listening experience fresh for your stream. For that, we added a shuffle playback feature on all playlists (Curated & My Playlists).
In the Twitch extension, select a playlist, hit the shuffle icon, and let the primordial forces pick which songs come next. Now, no two streams will sound the same!
Even with all of the new Pro features, we had to throw in some extras for the over 24,000 active monthly streamers who help make our Twitch extension a success!
Playlist runtimes are now displayed on all playlist list views, including Curated & My Playlists. Now you know just how much time your stream will have before it conveniently loops to keep your stream vibing.
Song rows within all individual playlists now display artist artwork so you can find that song you loved for your own curated playlists, or play it again from a playlist while streaming.
