Media notes, Add to Dropbox, Project Documents and more.

Our most recent Projects feature release has received some wonderful upgrades and we think you will be as excited as we are to use them.

Projects are multimedia hubs that give you a plethora of tools within the Soundstripe web app to speed up your workflow.

In addition to the already useful features of our initial release, we have added more tools to help you keep creating. Let's take a peek at what's new!

Add Playlist Items to a Project in My Playlists

Now you can add one or more media items from a ‘My Playlist’ to a new or existing project.

Add To Project From Playlist

  • Hover over the song, sfx, or video you would like to add to your project. This will reveal an empty box next to the item.
  • Check the box for each item you want to add to your project. Once finished, click the "Add to Project" button.
  • A window will appear directing you to select which project you want to add the media items to. Select the correct project and viola! Your items are added to your project.
Note: for videos you will click the "Select" box in the upper right corner of the video

Add Duplicate Media Items to a Project

Projects can be used to order and arrange media for a video, podcast or other project.

You may find yourself needing to use the same song as an intro or outro (for a regular podcast, for example). Now music, sfx and videos can be added to a project more than once.

If you attempt to add a media item to a project where it already exists, you will see a window confirming that you want to add it again.

Duplicate Media Items

After you select the "Add Again" button your media item will appear in the project again.

Add project files to Dropbox

If you share your files via Dropbox, we have you covered. Now you are able to add your project files to a Dropbox account from the ‘Download Project’ window.

To speed up your workflow even more, you can now add an item to a project right from your search as you browse in a Music, SFX, or Video page.

To add, edit or delete a note, select the "add note" section on the row of the specific media item you want.

Note: Only the Project Owner or Team Members can add and edit notes. Project collaborators viewing shared projects will be able to view notes on asset rows.

Download Project Documents

Download all of your project documents in one place!

In your project view, select one or more assets in your project. After you have selected your media, click the "Documents" button.

The 'Documents' window allows you to download the copyright info, cue sheet templates, or proof of licenses for any media that have been downloaded from the project.

Once you select which documents you would like to download, they are downloaded in a single file, with all media items listed in a single document.

Note: If a media item hasn’t been downloaded, you will be notified that you need to download the media before getting documentation.
