Autoplay is commonly blocked by browsers to improve user experience and reduce unwanted audio.
- Safari and Chrome now prevent autoplay by default
- This is controlled by your browser settings, not Soundstripe
- You can allow autoplay by updating your browser preferences
To enable autoplay in Safari:
- Go to Settings → Websites → Auto-Play
- Find Soundstripe and allow autoplay
In Chrome:
- Autoplay is typically allowed after user interaction (like clicking play once)
Tips & tricks
- If autoplay still doesn't work, refresh the page after updating settings
- Try playing one track manually to "unlock" autoplay behavior
